Android O launched with new features [supported devices list]

Android O is finally launched and as expected its Android Oreo, now most of the users are thinking about the device compatibility!! Yes, maybe you are also thinking that your device will get Android O Update or not or when your Device will get Android O update.

So here we are talking about the same topic, Google has left us with a list of companies that will update some of their devices, but actually, we do not know when they will be, maybe it'll take 1 month or two or maybe six months. So I am going to list some companies and their smartphone models with the estimated time that will take to get Android O update.Obviously, pixel devices will get the update soon.

List of phones that will upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo

Android O update for Samsung:

This company is expected to upgrade the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 before the end of the year, although in 2016 we did not see an official update for the Galaxy S7 to Nougat, so we can not expect too much from Samsung. In the mid-range phones, it is expected that the updates will start arriving at the end of the first quarter of 2018, so you still have to wait to have Android Oreo on your Samsung mid-range device.

Android O update for Lg Devices:

LG does not have as many devices as Samsung on the market, so upgrades can be carried out much earlier. The LG G6 sure has Oreo before the end of the year, On the other hand, in its midrange phones, LG Q6 possibly get the update soon.

Android O update for Moto Devices:

Motorola is one of the popular brand that sells most of mid range phones, surely the new Moto G5S and G5S Plus will upgrade to Oreo, and the Moto G5 is likely to do so too. We do not know anything about the Moto E4, although  Motorola promised Android Oreo for the Moto G4 and G4 Plus, so everything that goes above could upgrade, including Moto Z Play and Moto Z2 Play.

Android O update for Nokia:

Nokia is another company that will update its devices before the end of the year. The company itself has said on occasion that its terminals will get updates shortly after each Android update, so we expect that in the upcoming weeks the Nokia 5, 6 and 8 will be able to upgrade to Android 8 Oreo.

Android O update for OnePlus:

Although Google has not talked much about OnePlus and is not even on the official list, it is well known that the company takes good care of its devices. Thanks to the confirmations of the OnePlus itself, you would like to know that not only the OnePlus 5 will get Android Oreo, but also the OnePlus 3 and 3T, although we do not know now that how much time they will take to release the update.

Some Other Brands:

Sony:

At the moment the leaks tell us that they will update the XZ Premium, the X Compact, the X1A and some more like the Xperia X or X Performance. 

Huawei:

Huawei P10 and Mate 9 are expected to update in the coming weeks, and sure before the end of the year. but P10 Lite or P8 Lite 2017 will have to wait a little longer.
